ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Duffey's Cabinet Shop, Inc. products are manufactured to provide excellent performance, value and years of trouble-free operation.

Duffey's Cabinet Shop, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser of any Duffey's Cabinet Shop, Inc. product for residential use that Duffey's will at it's option, repair or replace, without charge, such product if it fails due to a Duffey;s Cabinet Shop Inc. manufacturing defect during the first year after the initial closing date. This includes reasonable labor charges needed to repair or replace the product covered hereunder.

This warranty applies to Duffey's Cabinet Shop, Inc. product that is used and maintained in the manner recommended by Duffey's.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

    Tops:

           Use only mild soap or household cleaners such as 409, Fantastic, etc., (NO ABRASIVES) and a rag dampened with water to clean. Avoid all types of cleaners or solvents which might contain chemicals that could seriously damage the top. Avoid allowing water to get in the seam areas.

    Cabinets:

            Use a rag dampened with light water to clean any stubborn spots. Wipe with a dry cloth to remove traces of water. Excessive water can cause water damage. 

EXCLUSIVE OF THE WARRANTY

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

1. Physical abuse, accident, misuse, fire, flood, damage from excessive heat, light, water and any other Acts of God.

2. Failure of any caulk, filled joint, or seam. (Caulk is considered to be a part of the regular maintenance and upkeep of the house.)

3. Failure to follow Duffey's recommended procedures for cleaning and maintenance.

4. Paint or stain touchups that were not reported at the final walk-through, (before occupation of the home) are considered to be part of the regular maintenance and upkeep of the home.

5. Natural variation in color, texture of the wood, or the seams on plywood panels are not to be considered as defects.

6. A warp or bow, not to exceed 1/8" inch, shall not be considered a defect. In the event that any cabinet door should warp, the following steps will be taken: 1.) Making any necessary adjustments to the hinges to enable the door to lie flat on the cabinet. 2.) In the event that step 1 fails, we will install some type of clip catch to hold the door in place (with permission from the customer). 3.) If steps 1 & 2 are not satisfactory, any doors under 40" in height will be replaced at the expense of Duffey's Cabinet Shop, Inc., doors over 40" in height will be replaced at the expense of the Customer.

7. Normal expansion and contraction of wood and wood products shall not be considered a defect.

8. Products finished or installed by the customer are not warranted.

9. Products used in the manufacturing of cabinets by Duffey's Cabinet Shop, Inc. such as hardware, countertops, etc. will be subject to the warranty provided by the manufacturer.

This warranty applies only to Duffey's Cabinet Shop, inc. products.

This warranty is not transferable or assignable.

Duffey's obligation hereunder is limited solely to the repair or replacement, including necessary labor charges, of the Duffey's product purchased hereunder.

There are no further warranties of any kind, expressed or implied.

Please complete the Warranty Registration form and submit for our records, it must be on file at Duffey's Cabinet Shop, Inc. before any warranty work can be completed. You can print a copy for your records as well.
